Operator and contact

For privacy questions or account-deletion requests, contact fourfourtydesigns+help@gmail.com. Signed-in users can select Help → FAQ → How do I request account deletion? to record a Google-account-verified request and then send its reference to support. Recent sign-in is required. This records a request for administrator review, not immediate deletion, cancellation of billing or a refund. If you cannot sign in, email support for assistance.

The irreversible deletion process and retention exceptions are not yet enabled or finalized. Existing Google Drive files and exported copies are not automatically deleted. This draft does not promise a completed or automated deletion service.

Google sign-in and account access

Google provides sign-in. Account identifiers and email addresses are used to manage login, account access and account-specific recovery context. Firebase stores active-session records, billing-account links, usage counts and minimal pipe geometry/history needed for free-usage enforcement. Not all drawing-related information is stored only in Google Drive.

Drawings and storage

Drawings are kept in local browser storage for recovery. Drawings you save to Google Drive are stored in your Drive. The app requests Google's drive.file permission for files it creates or that you make available to it. To protect editing locks, the backend temporarily uses your Google access token to verify that the Drive account matches your sign-in and that you can edit the file. It checks account identity and file permission metadata, not drawing contents, and does not store the token. Permission is checked again when the editing lock is renewed. You may revoke permissions through your Google account; doing so may interrupt app features. Exported copies remain wherever you save or share them.

Payments

Stripe handles checkout and payment details. The app stores a billing-account link and verifies subscription eligibility. It does not store full card numbers or CVCs. Live payments are currently disabled.

Required usage analytics

The hosted app currently requires permission for Google Analytics. It measures visits and selected tool, open, save and export actions. Custom analytics events exclude drawing contents, project and fixture names, Google account IDs and email addresses. Google receives technical information through its analytics service.

Declining or withdrawing analytics permission locks hosted access without deleting drawings. You can open Usage privacy in the app to review or withdraw permission. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals currently prevent analytics and hosted access. Advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled in the app's settings.

The owner has chosen required analytics. Privacy/legal review of this approach, applicable U.S. state requirements, consent and browser privacy signals remains a launch requirement. This notice does not establish compliance or describe analytics as optional.

Service providers

Google/Firebase provides authentication, hosting, database, Drive and analytics services; Stripe provides payment services. Their processing is also described in the Google privacy policy and Stripe privacy policy.

Items awaiting review

Retention periods for session records, billing links, usage/geometry/history, infrastructure logs and analytics have not yet been approved. Data-request, deletion, access/correction and identity-verification procedures, legally required retention and international processing disclosures must be completed before launch. A planned U.S.-only sales market does not itself guarantee U.S.-only data processing.

Company memberships (test only)

Firebase stores company names, owner identifiers and emails, invited member emails, accepted member identifiers, invitation references, timestamps, membership versions, and up to 50 recent membership-change records per company. Owners see their roster and pending invitations; members see the company name and owner email, not the full roster. Authorized administrators can review company information. No invitation emails are sent automatically. Membership changes do not change Google Drive permissions.

Deletion requests are at Help → FAQ → How do I request account deletion? Company owners should contact support to resolve billing and membership before deletion. Retention and manual deletion handling for company records remain part of the pre-launch privacy review.
